Terms of Use
Last updated October 15, 2026
The short version
- ECPro is a tool for running your cleaning business. Your data stays yours; you give us permission to store and process it so the app works.
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple. New accounts get 14 days free. A plan is charged through Apple when you buy it, renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be cancelled any time in your iPhone’s subscription settings.
- You are responsible for what you bill. ECPro builds the invoice; you confirm the work, the price and the recipient.
- The AI assistant is in beta. Check its answers before you act on them.
- Don’t use ECPro to break the law, to mislead anyone, or to interfere with the Service.
1. The agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a contract between you and ECPro (“ECPro”, “we”, “us”) covering your use of the ECPro app for iPhone, the website at ecproapp.com, and any related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business, and “you” means the business as well as you personally.
2. Who can use ECPro
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Service is for businesses and individuals who clean and maintain residential and commercial property. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of the United States or the country where you live.
3. Your account and your team
You are responsible for your account: keep your password private, keep your contact details current, and tell us promptly at support@ecproapp.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
On a team plan, the account owner may invite cleaners to the account. The owner is responsible for the people they invite, for what those people do in the account, and for removing them when they leave. Cleaners may use the Service only as directed by the owner and only for that owner’s business. The owner’s plan determines how many cleaners may be on the account.
4. Subscriptions and billing
ECPro is sold as a subscription through Apple’s App Store. Plans, prices and what each plan includes are described in the app and at ecproapp.com/#pricing, and may change for future billing periods with notice.
- Free period for new accounts. New accounts get 14 days free with every feature, including team logins. The free period comes with the account, not with a plan, and no payment details are needed.
- Buying a plan and automatic renewal. A plan is charged through Apple when you buy it; there is no free trial on the plans themselves. It renews automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be cancelled any time in your iPhone’s subscription settings. Apple charges your App Store payment method at the price shown when you subscribed.
- Trade add-ons. A second trade (Painting or Cleaning) is a separate subscription through Apple, charged when you buy it and renewing on the same terms as a plan.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your iPhone’s Settings under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds. Because Apple processes the payment, refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.
- Price changes. If we raise the price of your plan, Apple will tell you in advance and the new price will apply only if you agree to it or, where the law allows, at your next renewal after notice.
- Taxes. Prices are in US dollars and may exclude sales or similar taxes, which Apple adds where required.
5. Your content
Everything you put into ECPro, including client and property details, jobs, prices, invoices, reports and photos, is your content. You own it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, display and transmit your content solely to provide, maintain, secure and improve the Service and to do what you ask, for example sending an invoice to a property manager. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backup copies that expire on their own schedule and records we must keep by law.
You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the right to enter it, including any personal information about other people, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break any law. Photos must be taken with any permission the property or its residents require.
6. Invoices, reports and running your business
ECPro helps you record work, document it with photos, and bill for it. It does not perform the work, verify that it was done, or guarantee that a client will pay. You are responsible for the accuracy of every job, price and invoice you send, for keeping your own records, for collecting payment, and for your tax, licensing, insurance and other legal obligations as a business.
Sent invoices are locked so that the copy a client holds always matches yours. If you need to correct one, issue a new invoice or a credit as your accounting practice requires.
Emails and PDFs sent through the Service are sent on your behalf and in your name. Make sure the recipients you choose are correct; we cannot recall a message once it has been delivered.
7. AI assistant (beta)
ECPro can be connected to a third-party AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol. The feature is provided in beta and may change or be withdrawn. Assistants can be wrong: an answer about what is unbilled, overdue or complete is a convenience, not a substitute for checking the app. Your use of the assistant itself is governed by that provider’s terms, and we are not responsible for the provider’s service or for what it does with the data you allow it to access.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to do anything unlawful, or to send invoices, reports or messages that are false or misleading;
- upload content that is infringing, defamatory, obscene or harmful, or that you have no right to share;
- attempt to gain access to accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or probe, scan or test the Service’s security without our written permission;
- reverse engineer, decompile or copy the app, or use automated tools to scrape the Service, except as the law expressly allows;
- resell, sublicense or share your account, or use the Service to build a competing product;
- interfere with the Service, for example by overloading it or introducing malicious code.
9. Our rights
The Service, including the app, its design, text, graphics and software, is owned by ECPro and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on an iPhone you own or control, for your business. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. The ECPro name and logo may not be used without our permission.
If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided over the internet and on devices we do not control, and it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features, and we may require you to update the app to keep using it. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow these disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ECPro and its owners, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms, however caused and under any theory of liability, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any twelve-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in that period, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless ECPro and its owners, employees and suppliers from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of the Service, your business dealings with your clients and team, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service at any time and can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@ecproapp.com. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel that in your iPhone settings.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or if your account has been inactive for a long period. We will try to warn you first unless the situation makes that impractical. Sections 5, 6, 9 and 11 to 17 survive the end of the agreement.
15. Apple App Store terms
Because the app is distributed through Apple’s App Store, the following also applies. These Terms are between you and ECPro only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, or consumer protection claims. In the event of a third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights, ECPro, not Apple, is responsible for its investigation, defence, settlement and discharge. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@ecproapp.com; most problems can be solved quickly and informally. Any claim that cannot be resolved that way will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may seek relief in small-claims court or seek an injunction to protect intellectual property in any court with jurisdiction.
17. General
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ECPro about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor to our business. Notices to you may be sent to the email address on your account.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
